Fishlandia trails only Philatelis in agricultural production, and has already passed the subcontinent in some crops. Although Fishlandia was originally settled because of its coast, the Philosateleians soon discovered the bountiful inland plain areas, and the region grew from there.
Major crop production is carefully recorded in Fishlandia's largest city, Spelyus. Tourists are never disappointed by a trip to the Spelyus Fish Market, nor by the deep-sea fishing excursions offered by the local residents. The Big Sea also attracts marine biologists from Philatelic City.
One of the unique features of Fishlandia is the underwater bio-dome of Subaqua, which is located just off the southern coast. Several hundred Philosateleians live in the dome far below the surface of the Big Sea. Tours and vacations, although expensive, are available to Subaqua.
